The Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): Server Infrastructure certification shows that you have the knowledge to plan, design and deploy a virtual infrastructure using Windows Server 2012.

It is recommended by Microsoft that candidates should have experience with previous Windows Server Operating systems and have already earned their MCSA: Windows Server 2012.

There are two MCSE certification paths that I recommend on my website for you to choose. They are MCSE: Server Infrastructure (covered on this page) and MCSE: Desktop Infrastructure

This MCSE: Server Infrastructure certification can help you towards pursuing a successful career as a:

1.) Computer Network Technician

2.) Computer Network Administrator

3.) Computer Network Engineer

How can I earn the MCSE: Server Infrastructure?

To earn the Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): Server Infrastructure certification you will have to pass a total of 5 exams.

You will earn the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows Server 2012 certification.

After that you just need two more exams to earn the new MCSE: Server Infrastructure certification:

• 70-413 Designing and Implementing a Server Infrastructure
• 70-414 Implementing an Advanced Server Infrastructure

The Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): Server Infrastructure requires that you complete a re-certification exam every 3 years to stay certified.

Upgrade your Certification!

If you have any of these following certifications already:

• MCSA: Windows Server 2008
• MCITP: Virtualization Administrator
• MCITP: Enterprise Messaging Administrator
• MCITP: Lync Server Administrator
• MCITP: SharePoint Administrator
• MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Administrator

Then you will need 3 exams to earn the MCSE: Server Infrastructure.

These exams are 70-417, 70-413 and 70-414.
