MCITP: Server Administrator on Windows Server 2008

The MCITP Server Administrator certification is perfect for you if you want to work on Windows servers on a business network. If you rather maintain a Windows 2008 infrastructure instead of design and engineer one then this certification is for you. Exams needed to earn the MCITP Server Administrator on Server 2008

To earn this certification you will be required to pass only 3 exams.

1.) 70-640 TS: Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, Configuring

3.) 70-646 Windows Server 2008, Server Administrator

You can take these exams in any order as long as you take all three.

Please note: Microsoft has said that this certification will be discontinued July 31, 2013. The exams will remain in market, and by passing these exams you will continue to earn the MCSA: Windows Server 2008 certification.

When you pass the Exam 70-640 you will automatically earn the MCTS: Windows Server 2008. This certification will help you land an entry level position as a computer network technician.
